Under the direction of the Executive Director, this part-time position (no more than 30 hours per week) serves as the Visitor Services Representative for the Kenai Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center (KCCVC). The incumbent will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day activities and ensuring the smooth functioning of the Visitor Center, Cultural Center, and at times Moose Meat John Cabin.
We are currently looking for a seasonal employee (end of May-August), there is a possibility of staying as a permanent employee if there is a position available after August. We are also looking for availability on-call currently before seasonal position begins as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Visitor Services Representative: Act as front desk representative for the KCCVC by answering phones, taking messages, providing information for guests, restocking inventory, and maintaining the presentation of the lobby area. Process sales transactions and handle credit/debit card transactions through the POS system.
