Cashier

Cashiers provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and ensuring prompt and courteous interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ring up customers, receive payment for goods, and maintain a clean working area.
• Scan orders accurately using a hand-held scanning gun or keyboard.
• Monitor merchandise inventory and request supervisor verification for high-ticket items.
• Assist with transferring merchandise, packaging orders, and following safety procedures.
• Process accurate payments, make change, and handle various transactions.
• Count registers at sign-on and shift end to ensure accuracy.
• Perform related tasks, such as setting up and closing the department, and maintaining a clean environment.

Requirements:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
